Dongzhi Manor's educational journey began in 2014, rooted in a heartfelt vision: to createa nature-centered, international learning home where every child could grow freely andhappily.

Founded by Ms. Chen Dongzhi, Dongzhi Manor Private Kindergarten first opened in Haikou, Hainan, China. From the start, DZMIS embraced a manor-style, eco-friendly campus with spacious outdoor areas, low teacher-student ratios, and a philosophy deeplyinspired by nature, art, exploration, and joy. The school quickly became a trusted name for holistic early childhood education, partnering with North American schools and Western University (Canada) to advance innovative, child-centered teaching.
OUR EDUCATION PHILOSOPHY
Let childhood unfold in nature
Let curiosity awaken through art
Let minds flourish through exploration
Let young hearts find their own light
COSMIC LIFE
EDUCATION
Dongzhi Manor School has established a curriculum ecosystem that balances internationalcompatibility with cultural roots. The entire curriculum design centers on the three-dimensionalgoals of "Academic Excellence + Global Perspective + Cultural Foundation."Through the deepintegration of an international curriculum framework and localized educational practices, itbuilds a growth ladder for students to reach the global stage.
The curriculum framework of DZMIS is aligned with the International Baccalaureate (LB)framework. Following its restructuring, the curriculum addresses the fundamental roots ofcurriculum design through six big questions:

THE QUESTIONS THAT SHAPE EACH JOURNEY
-
Who are we? (Identity and Relationships)
-
What time and space are we in? (Mathematical Logic & Natural Sciences)
-
How do we express ourselves? (Art and Language)
-
How does the world work? (Science and Technology)
-
How do we organize ourselves? (Society and Humanities)
-
6. How can we share one planet? (Environment and Responsibility)
